We are a startup company promoting an innovative web scripting solution, Instant Server Pages, which we think will allow better use of human resources when creating dynamic web sites.

Our solution allows separating the web development effort from the web design effort, so that teams of developers and designers can work independently, while maintaining a well-defined interface between them. This separation allows developing pre-built web applications, that can be easily be customised or extended by the client.

In addition to the rapid development advantages of this solution, the resulting website will benefit from a range of fast server side technologies, embedded in the implementation. The interpreter works as an ISAPI extension module, in the latest version of Internet Information Server 6.0, available under Windows Server 2003. Web pages can be pre-compiled. Due to the simplicity of the scripting languages, the page computation and formatting phases have been highly optimized in terms of program size and execution speed. There are several levels of caching, each ensuring that the site is very responsive. The script language used during page computation can be extended with custom developed modules, so that specific processing can be implemented in C/C++, for efficiency. Pages can be sent in compressed format, to save bandwidth and increase download speed. URL re-write can be used to make them shorter or to make them more search engine friendly.
