Managers ISPG Perspective

ISPG is a new method of developing and designing web sites, with emphasis on:

• Separation of web development and web design, based on a well documented interface between the two groups of people involved in these activities. Data models provide the middle ground between the two groups, the developers knowing what page results must be displayed, and designers knowing what needs to be displayed. The activity of these groups can occur in parallel, or can be separated in time and/or geographic space. This separation makes it easier to create or use packaged web applications, in which the functionality can be shared and the final look and feel of the web application can be customised to meet client needs.
• A version of ISPG Runtime will be soon available on Linux, for Apache, which will allow porting web applications on different platforms.
